The next Pete Poet track is in English

Pete is working on a song in French, but who knows if it will ever be released. The next one is definitely in English. And the title is Grooving (to the rhythm of your heart). Not the sort of song-title Postindustrial Poets get…

It is coupled with an instrumental too.

You can pre-save here.

The new Pete Poet track might take you by surprise.

Pete loves the garage sound of the Twenty Twenty Four album (see previous post). But he writes some smooth tracks too, and releases them as Pete Poet. The next track will be out on 28 February and it is (according to Cyanite, which analyses these things for us “chilled, romantic and sexy”.  It is paired with a lounge style instrumental.

You can grab a pre-save now.

That raw garage rock sound of Twenty Twenty Four...

Twenty Twenty Four is intentionally raw. A garage rock sound for tough times. Thanks to everyone who has played it!

Here it is on Amazon Music, on Tidal, on Apple Music, on Deezer, and on Spotify.

Great if you can listen and add a like!

This is a treat!

US musician Matt Geiser has put together a playlist with five Postindustrial Poets' tracks and five from artists we rate. The other artists are Arctic Monkeys, The Black Keys, Nick Cave, Tom Waits and Bob Dylan! It is what is playing here right now! You should definitely check out Matt's music too!

At rock'n'roll o'clock

At rock'n'roll o'clock the next Postindustrial Poets' album was wrapped up and sent to the distributor. This year the Postindustrial Poets' sound has basically been blues from the garage - and that is the mood of the album. The album will be called 2024 - just like the next single. Hope you are going to like it.

The last track to be completed was a dark version of Friday Night Drinks, with Pete on vocals (it is Manu from Time to Act on the collaboration single).

There will be a Pete Poet EP for the new year. That might be pretty dark too… dark times, aren't they?

Twenty Twenty Four

The new track Twenty Twenty Four is finally finished, and with the distributor.

It is an angry, psychedelic, garage rock track. Honestly if you think 2024 has been a great year, you probably won't like it. And it isn't made to be comfortable listening. - but it is a rocking track (I just listened again…)!

Hope you enjoy - we will let you know as soon as there is a pre-save link!

The demise of Twitter

Twitter seems to be on its last legs. For all its faults it has been our window on the world. But its weird ownership seems dedicated to destroying it, so we suggest that all of you follow us and every other band you are interested in on other platforms.

We are Facebook, and Instagram for example. And pretty much every other social media network. But maybe the best thing you could do would be to sign up for our mailing list. We send out an email about once a month, and let people know about new releases and other plans. You'll find a sign up tab on our home page (usually by scrolling up from here.
